| Science is basically a collection of proven theories. Science is a belief because there are people out there who choose not to believe in science. |

Technically science isnt rly a belief. There are theories (What philip says), yet many of them are proven. (but they arent thoeries anymore) So..... Science i just a higher understanding of religion (not rly) Let me rephrase that... people may believe in reglion and/or science, but science is actually proven than, just religion in with a person just says there is GOD and in their mind, he "pops" up.

"proven" is another concept of right or wrong (read my blog for more details...well, actually, don't read it because it might fry all your brain cells.).
Let me rephrase what I said, Science "can" be a belief, but to certain people, religion is reality. Nobody determines what is right or wrong in the world, it is only justified by majority, so we have no right in saying that Science is a belief or not. It is just a matter of opinion. If you go by majority, yes, science is thought of as fact. But, think about this: people don't need proof to believe in anything.
P.S. Why the heck are we talking about religion and science? Let's dicuss something else...cuz to be honest, it's quite useless. Nothing we say is going to change the world...at least in my PHILosophy anyway... |
