The Shape of Friendship

If friendship had a shape,
What would it look like?

Friendship is a clear glass wall.
You cannot see it,
But you know it’s there.

When you look through this glass,
You see the happiness.
The fun,
The smiles,
The laughs you have shared.

Friendship is liquid water.
Pure and flowing,
Giving you life.

When you spill this water,
It can be returned.
Be cleaned,
Be forgiven,
Be purified once again.

Friendship is plastic wrap.
Covers and protects,
Keeps you safe.

They preserve you and your loved ones,
The ones you hold dear.
Keeps you fresh,
Keeps you alive,
Keeps you together with your friends.

That is what friendship looks like.
